Robert Price Jr., Loan Manager
Jenny Van Bingen, Loan Officer
Robert has successfully originated more than $500 million in loans, and continues to be a top producer at UMFI. But despite his success, Robert treats every client as if they were his first and only customers, keeping them informed and minimizing their stress throughout the process. Through his long career at UMFI, he learned first-hand what’s involved with the application process and how to help clients avoid pitfalls. He’s also dedicated to answering his customers’ questions quickly and efficiently, so he stays available by cell phone even in the evenings and weekends.
Having mortgage related experience in both North Carolina and Virginia, Jenny has become an irreplaceable asset after joining the Universal Finance team in 2012. With over 10 years of mortgage experience in various markets, her objective while working with her clients is to develop an outstanding partnership that will last a lifetime. Jenny’s goal is to provide clients with a personal touch, friendly customer service and a smooth, stress free transaction.
Nora Lee Smith, Senior Loan Officer
As a native of Florida, Nora knows how this area works and how the people in it work. Having been a part of Universal Mortgage & Finance, Inc. since 2009, Nora has seen the extremes of the industry and the market in this area.
Nora has found that the best way to be a successful loan officer is to always be available, exceed expectations, and provide an abundance of information. Her clients are always telling her that they were expecting their financing process to become difficult or stressful and it never did. By keeping her clients well informed and by proactively seeking out possible issues in their individual loan process, Nora eliminates the possibility of surprises in advance.
